Quick tabulation update

Nov 09, 2018

Here’s what we know: the Orange County Registrar of Voters is reporting an estimated 404,145 ballots left to count across Orange County:

  • 13,200 paper ballots
  • 209,765 vote-by-mail ballots
  • 160,000 provisional ballots

Please remember, the Registrar’s office only reports numbers countywide, so we can’t know for sure — these are only our estimates. But the OC Vote Website provides updated results for each race every day at 5 p.m.

Like all of you, we’re anxious to get the final results. But, I have to say — we’re excited. As more ballots are counted, our lead continues to grow. Regardless of the outcome, you’re the reason we’ve gotten this fair. Thank you.

If you’ve been with us since the beginning, you know we’re not afraid of a close race — or a recount.

With margins this close, we need to be prepared to fund a recount. Consider making a contribution to our recount fund so we can act quickly.

This is a long process and we’ll continue to monitor the results and provide updates as we have them. More soon.
