A deeply troubling summary

Apr 18, 2019

Today, all of America gets to look at the report created thanks to Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation.

One thing that’s clear as it’s reviewed: Mueller wanted Congress — not Attorney General William Barr — to determine if obstruction of justice occurred, and what should happen if so.

Digging deeper, the report shows Mueller and his team believed that Department of Justice regulations mean the DOJ shouldn’t even try to determine if Trump deserved indictment.

The Mueller Report is just the start. I believe the next steps should be on us, the elected representatives of the American people.

Because, if one thing’s becoming clear, Barr’s political summary of the report and the facts of the report itself are very, very different. And that is deeply troubling.
