Two years ago this month, we started a campaign that would alter the politics of Orange County.
We co-created a political climate that values environmental stewardship. One that rejects partisan rancor, and embraces thoughtful debate. One that prioritizes real people and real progress.
I’m proud of what we’ve built together.
The changes we’ve made have caused our campaign to become the target of partisan super PACs and dark money donors — no doubt they are irritated by our efforts to get big money’s influence out of politics. And sure, I understand their frustrations.
For the first time in decades, Orange County’s vote isn’t for sale to the highest bidder, but cast on behalf of our community.
