100 years

In the dawn of the 20th century, American women campaigned for broad social, economic, and political reforms — including the right to vote. Their hard work culminated in the 19th Amendment, which passed in the House of Representatives 100 years ago today.

No doubt in the 100 years since women were granted the right to vote, we've come a long way. But, there is decades-old legislation from that movement that still hasn't been fully ratified. The Equal Rights Amendment.

This important piece of legislation seeks to end the legal distinctions based on gender in terms of property, employment, and other personal or professional matters. And it still has not been ratified.

Sign your name and show your support for full ratification of the Equal Rights Amendment.

Forward,
