Some of my best friends aren't corporations
Ever go for a walk on a beach with a corporation?
How about grabbing a beer with an LLC after a long day on the job?
And remember your favorite corporation's last birthday party, playing pin-the-spire on the skyscraper with their kids?
Of course you don't.
Because corporations aren't people.
Why, then, do Republicans in Congress insist on giving special treatment to big corporations and shadowy political organizations when it comes to making campaign contributions?
Citizens United opened the floodgates. That disastrous Supreme Court decision has allowed corporations, the ultra-wealthy, and shadowy political groups to drown out the voice of everyday Americans in our political process.
I'm running for Congress to put an end to it.
Let me promise you something.
I will not take any corporate PAC money in our campaign to beat Dana Rohrabacher and take back Congress.
And, as your Congressman, I will work tirelessly to overturn Citizens United.
Because of course corporations aren't people. And it's time Congress remembered it.
Your small-dollar donations will power us to victory.
